Why we support GCHC
As a local independent business based in the heart of Glasgow we felt it right to support a charity which is local to us and that many of our customers can connect with. The work the charity do is remarkable and on a daily basis changes the lives of families from all around Scotland. Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity put smiles on Children’s faces when they are unwell, here are just some of the areas the charity have an impact in Scotland’s largest children’s hospital, Supporting families of patients, organising hospital play programmes and helping to fund new and improved medical equipment and research into new medicines and techniques.
Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity support the true superheroes in Glasgow, hospital isn’t fun for anyone never mind a young child who can’t always fully understand what is wrong with them and why. The charity have invested their donations into making the lives of families attending the hospital much easier, from the Teddy Hospital which helps patients understand procedures to financial services who support parents and carers in difficult times.
We are very proud to do our bit to help this amazing charity, many members of our team have at one point had to visit the Children’s hospital and have directly benefited from the facilities and support that the charity have been instrumental in providing to the hospital.
